Jen Shepard, Technical and Industrial Art Teacher, and her fiancé Stan, picked up their school district’s free SIASim Flight Simulator from the SIA office at the Baraboo-Dells airport this past week. Jen was so excited to receive the simulator. “Students were bugging me about when they would be able to start using it”, she said during our orientation session. Jen flew with her father and has always had an interest in aviation. Stan is also a pilot and plans to help out the students as they start their aviation journey. We at SIA are so happy to be working with people like Jen and Stan who have a desire to share aviation with young people. Jen, we hope the students enjoy the sim and we look forward to working with you in the future!!!
The kids are going to love this!! We have spent the last two days learning the ins and outs of the sim and it has been so much fun and a great learning experience! I can’t wait for fall to show the kids and watch them learn all the excitement that aviation has to offer! Thank you for this amazing opportunity!!
